Anyone who has played the original Borderlands will love this; more of the same, bigger and better. If you're trying Borderlands for the first time, expect a balanced FPS mixed with expansive RPG elements, great character classes and varied environments, all in a great adventure that's oozing with a fantastic sense of humor. Buy it.

Borderlands 2 is an excellent game. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys FPS games.

Bought Borderlands 2 as a treat for my teenage son who was hoping to get it as a Christmas present this year. He was over the moon and hasn't stopped playing it since it arrived.

This is such an improvement on the first game - if you liked Borderlands, you will love Borderlands 2! I found the difficulty curve a little off in places (too easy) but overall this wasn't a problem. Gameplay, humour and story are all fantastic. The best game I've played this year!

Borderlands 2 is by far the best triple A title released this year. Though most people say that it is just an expansion to the first installation(which is true), but who said that is a bad thing? It adds a bigger world to explore, better graphics and improved story line, what more could you ask for! And an even better thing is a new system that has been added called the "Badass Rank"; it allows you to increase your stat's every time you complete a challenge, which is carried on to any character you make.

If you played the original Borderlands then you will know exactly what Borderlands 2 is about - guns, loot and shenanigans. This is a straight up evolved continuation of the first one that's even better. It's been tweaked in the right way, so it doesn't feel like they have tried too hard. There is still abundant amounts of loot, the jokes are hysterical - and the way the new character classes play is really enjoyable. The new settings and graphics are so pretty, so very pretty. The soundbytes from the enemies will crack you up, and slaughtering midgets may become your new unhealthy obsession... electronically speaking. The game is as forgiving as the first one, you die - no big deal, you lose some money and then charge back in again and resume. Playing it online with friends is the way to do it, and with the loot system amended so that you can share loot across your own various characters, you can save up cool stuff and use it across various playthroughs. If you liked the first one, then odds are you already have this game. If you don't then get it. Seriously.

Like it's prequel the perfect match of action FPS with RPG elements. The co-op integration and playtime makes this a must buy for anybody who likes FPS. It's a fine shooter for single player but it really shines in co-op gameplay (you can even play split screen). Highly recommended.

Unbelievable, and 10 times better than the original. It makes a change from the usual games and I guarantee you will laugh as there's plenty of comedy. Everything just works in the game and the amount of fun you can have, even after finishing the game, is great. There are hundreds of Easter Eggs, including Lord of the Rings and Minecraft. Surely game or the year!

I ordered the wrong PC format of this product the first time round and zavvi were very happy to allow me to return it, even though the celophane had been removed. I was very happy with the hard packaging it came in. This being said, however, the delivery time of both the original incorrect format and the correct format (once ordered again) were not within the ETAs provided by zavvi. Good supplier but I think this is my 3rd order through zavvi and all 3 products have arrived late. Don't expect to get your goods on time but do expect them to come in good condition.
