Catherine is a puzzle-platformer survival horror adventure game developed by Atlus Persona Team. The game is Atlus' first internally developed game for seventh-generation consoles in high definition, and is described as an "adult-oriented" title by the game's character designer, Shigenori Soejima. It has great characters, great story, fun puzzles (which are hard sometimes), and overall, is a great game. Buy it!

Simply amazing, wonderful game! The japanese anime works really well with the game play of this fantastic game.

Remember the old good puzzle games? Well.. Catherine mixes up the best puzzle stages ever with an extraordinary fun and appealing storyline. Best game of the year to me.

To say that Catherine is a weird game, would be a huge understatement. I will not talk about the plot since it is central to the gaming experience and, honestly, if you remove the plot from the game, it becomes a mediocre (and extremely hard and punishing) platformer. The gameplay isn't exceptionable, but the story drives you onward and its weird universe is compelling.

I had to buy this game. I wasn't disappointed. I'm only a few hours in on easy, the story is the main attraction and it's great to see a game with mature script. And at a 15 rating it's not just a stupid 1st person shooter or lame button bashing beat em-up.
