Loved all the X-men films but this is by far my favourite, shows you where it all began, connecting all the films together, lots of action but very funny.

I admit to being a cynic when I first heard Fox were taking the X-men franchise back to the 60's to show how it all began: how wrong was I? Under the direction of Matthew Vaughn, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Kevin Bacon excel as Professor X, Magneto and Sebastian Shaw respectively. The plot moves along at breakneck speed but care is taken to ensure it ties in with the continuity of the other films in the series. The effects are of the calibre we have come to expect from the modern blockbuster and overall this is the best film yet in the X-men series. My only minor criticism is that I would have preferred the producers to have started from scratch so that Cyclops, Ice Man, etc were available to be used. Nevertheless in a year that saw Green Lantern, Thor and Captain America on the big screen this still stands as the best super-hero movie of the last twelve months.

Top Movie as good as the other X-Men films and full of action, good to see them show how it all starts...

X-Men: First Class is an Absolutely fantastic movie! It has a really well thought out storyline and the casting was brilliant. Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy were a great match. Definitely a must see for any marvel or sci-fi fans.

Watched the movie, loved all of it!! the whole movie is full of surprises, and it has action all the time, it doesnt stop! favorite movie for sure!

After the dross that was X-Men Last Stand and X-Men Origins I gave up hope on there ever being another X-Men film that could be as good as number 2 until Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass) directed the latest instalment, X-Men First Class. This film is on par with the brilliance of the second film and also provides new characters (that I prefer to the characters in the other films) that keeps the film fresh and has some excellent action sequences set in front of real life historical events. Brilliant.

This is by far the best x-men film and reveales the story so well if you have never seen any x-men films before. Could be the best film I have watched for a long while without being bored, as it is so gripping! Well worth the money.
