The game Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi itself is good, but in my opinion the gameplay isn't good enough. I would say you can't fully control your character and in the Character Mode the only way to transform is a cutscene. I recommend this game mainly for Dragonball Z fans.

When I first saw the trailer I was very impressed. In my opinion the game is good but they could improve the gameplay and make it like it is in the previous Dragon Ball game, Raging Blast 2. I love the "Character Mode" where you can create your own character and do all the different missions, the only thing that could make it better is to add more accessories to the "Create Character Mode" such as more hair styles, different races like namekjins etc. I would recommend this game for children and fans of Dragon Ball. Overall rating 7/10.

This game is great and the fights are epic. Well worth a play if you like DBZ.

Amazing game! Exactly what you want if your a hard dragon ball z fan.

The game play is not excellent - the player isn't free, he can't do anything! This and the graphics are what let this game down in my opinion. The details of combat are beautiful and the story is really interesting, which make up for it.

If you are looking for a DBZ game that is on 7th generation of consoles, then you should try another one. Unless you are a beginner at this series and want to experience playing anime itself, then just take a wild turn around this. Unfortunately this is just an average DBZ game. The character roster seems to only get smaller and smaller with each game, but what the main problem with this game is its repetitive nature. Graphics and soundtrack are pretty good, don't get me wrong, but the gameplay is so badly done and repetitive that it gets boring after a few hours. It does have some new innovative things, but they are not implanted well. Overall if you are looking for a newer DBZ game, better get Raging Blast. It is a better tenkaichi even if not ultimate.

Great battles , very good graphics and battle simulation. Not as much as free choice as i thought. Mostly is a matter of luck , 50 % rating of success. not recommended if you are not a huge fun of Dragon Ball.
