Justified is a super TV show - I saw one episode on TV and was hooked. Timothy Olyphant is great in the role of quietly spoken US Marshal Raylan Givens, and fine supporting roles by Margo Martindale (Emmy Award for her role) and Walton Goggins make this a very satisfying viewing experience. Set mostly in the backwoods of Kentucky, there are some engaging characters - the 'hillbilly/redneck' accents may be hard going for some, but do persevere. Based on novels by Elmore Leonard, I believe this series to one of the most satisfying to have come out of USA in a while. It shows a totally different side of life as it really is - some may think it 'off', but if you are aware of that part of the USA and its people, you will find it true to life. I hope there is a 3rd Season!

I bought Justified - Season 1 on the strength of other people's reviews, who were all highly impressed with this Justified series, so me and my wife really looked forward to watching it. After about twenty minutes or so I said to my wife "do you like this?" and we both laughed because we are both old enough to know what a B movie is like and this my friends is a B movie. For those of you who don't know what a B movie is it's a second rate film which used to accompany the main film in the cinema. So our opinion is, it's not worth watching because it's a bit over the top ... I rest my case.

Justified is quality American drama at its best. Fast paced, good story lines, and it deals with everyday subjects. Timothy Oliphant is superb in the lead role! If you like your TV drama fast paced and with a touch of realism, then Justified is the show for you.

This is a gritty true to life offering with excellent performances by all the actors, even those with bit parts. The main character seems to be always cool but acts without hesitation when necessary. His personality comes out more as the series progresses and more is learned about him. My main reason for liking this series is he acts as I would like to be able to myself. Overall this is another excellent series with Timothy Olyphant.
