Dead or Alive 5 is a great fighting game. You can also dive deep into the controls and so there is fun for casual and hardcore gamers. Single player is like any beat'em'up. Story mode has a very nice overview of the whole timetable and bonus missions to accomplish if you like the challenge. Multi-player is the important part - online and offline is easily accessible but challenging on higher ratings.

Dead or Alive 5 is a great game with beautiful graphics. The game is fun to play with a big roster of characters and each character has a long list of moves with their own fighting style. The game is very dynamic with a changing environment. One bad thing is that high scale moves can be tricky to pull-off.

You spin me right round, oops wrong dead or alive. The graphics are the best I have seen in a beat em up and as there are virtua fighter bonus characters you can easily compare both games. Dead of Alive in the past used sexy females to sell the game but this time they have gone 4 a more serious approach and although I suck at beat em ups it is fun for a quick blast here and there.

Dead or Alive 5 features gorgeous visuals with fast-paced game play, however there's not much visual difference between characters. Regardless, it's a good combat game.

I love this game. The roster isn't as big as Tekken's, but it plays great and it's always a lot of fun. You have all the typical fighting game modes and the story is very good too. Several levels of difficulty, from supernoob to almost impossible. And the chicks are hot, of course...

Dead or Alive 5 is a great game, with very beautiful and fluid graphics. The characters have really different fighting styles and just pushing random buttons will get you nowhere (you'll have to learn how and when to attack and when to parry and strike back). If you like fighting games this is a must have.

The game is absolutely brilliant. Brilliant story, fluid characters.
