Studio 4C have created many marvels, but unfortunately most of their work has not been licensed outside of Japan. The only work that seems to be picked up for retail are their collaborations like Tekkon Kinkreet (French collab) and this one (Russian Collab). This is a bare bones release containing the movie (about 60 minutes) with audio in Russian (original), French, English and subtitles in English of course. I would say this is the weakest work I've seen by Studio 4C, it's in no means bad but the plot really doesn't seem to be all that developed and the animation isn't anything special either (it looks like a cheap tv production). What I really liked the most were the opening titles, really awesome character design and some great music. I think this would've been a lot better as a short 13 episode tv series, but as a standalone title it's just average. I would still say to pick this up, simply because it's really cheap. I got this together with Legend of The Millennium Dragon for 15 so no complaints from me. Hopefully if this sells well enough, we'll one day get the better studio 4C work like MindGame.
