LEGO Friends: Emma's Design Studio (3936)

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Another lego product that is very easy to build for a 5 year old. It also holds many play options.

LEGO Friends: Emma's Design Studio

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

This whole series is an attempt to capture the 'girly' market, but I think it's misguided as it misses the point of Lego, it being a construction set. All these gendered little sets are just a bit mercenary (though these are better than Belville was). But kids who like building will want proper Lego, with many blocks from which you can, well, build things. However, as an intro to Lego for a girl that isn't sure about it it might work. I am giving 3 stars mostly because at this price it's a good birthday present if you want to buy a box of Lego for a girl.
