A Disney Classic!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

A classic film that stands the test of time! While it's songs were never great, Alice in Wonderland is so different from other Disney films that it stands out among the crowd and it's animation and quirky characters still hold up today! Wonderland is crazy, and that is perhaps why it appeals today, just as much as it did in 1951, with odd but charming characters such as; The Cheshire Cat, The Mad Hatter, and The Caterpillar, to name but a few. The blu-ray version looks suprisingly crisp, clear and beautiful for such an old film and I'd recommend it to anyone, especially fans of Disney or Lewis Carroll's novels! The blu-ray also features an assortment of cool extras too, perhaps not as much as previous DVD releases or the US BR release, but I'm sure it'll be enough to satisfy most peoples needs. Included are; Reflections of Alice Featurette Operation Wonderland One Hour In Wonderland Feature And a bunch of stuff that is exclusive to Blu-Ray Disc; -Through The Keyhole: A Companion's Guide to Wonderland -Painting the Roses Red Interactive Game -DisneyView - Enhanced Viewing Experience -Walt Disney Colour TV Intoduction (1959) -Reference Footage: Alice And The Doorknob -Pencil Test: Alice Shrinks Most of it is fluff, but some of the featurette stuff can be quite insightful, especially concerning the history of Disney's production of the film (perhaps even more interesting because of the time period it was released in). So as a classic from my child hood brought into HD in a beautiful little package I'll give this 5 stars! Highly recommended! =)

I love Alice in Wonderland and when I found out it was on Blu-ray I couldn't resist. My Blu-ray Disney collection is ever expanding and this makes a great addition.

Another Disney classic. The only thing I have to point out is that its not in widescreen. so you ether watch it 4;3 or have the Disney-view on the sides which were not that bad I must say, but as for the film brilliant adventures loved it as a kid and now I do as an adult.
