This is the second VS Smartshell Case I have bought for my Ipad as the first lasted just over a month. At the price you take your chances.

Having used the cover on my ipad for a couple of weeks both my son & I felt it was worth getting another cover for his ipad. You get used to the cover folded behind it. In landscape I tend to fold the cover in to the triangle section and hook my finger inside to get a good hold of the ipad. You cannot really go wrong for the price.

This was a bargain price and seems much the same as the higher priced ones. It was quite hard to push the back cover on but with a bit of perseverance it snapped in place. The speaker grill holes just about line up. Turns iPad 2 on and off nicely as it opens and closes. Forms a nice angle for typing on. Only negative is it is a bit awkward with the cover folded behind the iPad when you try to hold it upright. Will be interesting to see how long the 'hinge' bit of the cover lasts with prolonged opening and closing. Seems to afford basic protection against small knocks and scratching. I can't see that you can go wrong with this for under £8.

Super good quality does the job just what I wanted without the high price

I start to smile whenever I see the price for the original smart cover, from apple. Why is that? Because Zavvi have a great price for practically the same thing! Thank you Zavvi!

This is an amazing price for what it is. I found it difficult to fit, slightly counter-intuitive in that you insert the left-hand side first before clicking in the right. The cover material is quite cheap so not sure how long it will last - but as long as it fits.

The quality of this product feels ok for the price tag. My issue is that it took over a month from ordering to me receiving this. I have the new iPad which I thought was the same as iPad 2 (in size) but after 30 minutes of trying I cannot get the back cover to fit and clip on the iPad. If this fits the iPad2 properly then I'm sure it's a decent product. The inbuilt magnetic cover seems to do what you expect, but feels slightly thinner than the apple one but considering the price difference it' seems fair. Since it will not fit my iPad (without possibly stretching it and then hammering it around the ipad (which I'm not willing to try)) I cannot use the product.

High quality case, almost like the original apple smart cover but hey, its way more cheaper than apple's. If youre looking for nice smart cover, here is your answer. This is no doubt the best smart cover with a reasonable price tag.
