This film is a great psychological thriller. Especially with the threat of the end of the world, people can relate and engage. Awesome!

This film is incredible, but you all already know this. Check out the director's previous film "Shotgun Stories", with Michael Shannon in the lead role again. It is a powerful, brilliantly acted piece about two sets of warring half brothers.

As an admirer of Michael Shannon's work, I didn't want to miss Take Shelter. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy the story, but found myself really engaged in the fate of the family. The unpredictabilty of our weather these days made Michael Shannon's character believable and I could connect with his frustration at times. Tension built through this film and I thought the ending was good.
