The original syndicate fans won't be very pleased with this title, but if you are looking for an excellent FPS with a good story and a great co-op, this is your game. In some ways, the game reminds me a lot Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Syndicate runs very well with low end machines, with my dual core and ati 5770 it is fantastic. Very recommended!

As a fan of the original Syndicates, I had high hopes for this game. The game is very linear, forcing the player to follow very specific routes as they go through the game. The action is fast paced however, and there are very few moments where the player has the time to take a breather, which kept at least my attention away from this fact until I had played it through and thought about it. The combat in the game is very brutal and graphic, which surprised me, as I had been expecting something at the level of the new Deus Ex - not the old Soldier of Fortune where you blow and tear people apart with gunfire. This is not necessarily a bad thing, if you can stomach it. Yeah, if you're seriously going to play through this game, I recommend you play it on hard from the start to get the maximum challenge and excitement, as I doubt you'll be playing through the single-player campaign through more than once. As for the plot, it is very cliché and unsurprising - which is all I will say about it lest I spoil it to someone who wants to play through this game - and the ending is very predictable once you get to the halfway of the game. Still, the voice acting was far above the average, and the dialogue was well written, so much can be forgiven, unless you're really expecting to have several exciting plot twists and surprising ending. You won't find one here. All in all, my end verdict is that this is not a bad game, but neither is it a good one either, which is a pity, because it could have been a great one, had the developers bothered to put some more effort into it. It could have been so much, much more than what it is. And it shows as you play through it. Still, this is one of the best shooters I've played in a while. If you enjoyed playing through the Crysis games, you'll probably enjoy this one too.

Syndicate is totally awesome. The co-operative mode is amazing, the graphics are of a great quality, and the game-play remains fun while slightly challenging. The single player campaign offers a huge variety of guns, abilities and other little bits and bobs. It seems to have everything, and turned out to be a very understated game. I highly recommend it.
