A sensitive, coming-of-age drama set against a Mediterranean backdrop finds a lonely young man and an ostracised woman meeting minds and forming a friendship which ultimately ends in tragedy. The coastline looks wonderful on Blu-ray but this is juxtaposed against some very violent and bloody scenes. A continental story of ultimate tragedy and past times.
