Dragon's Dogma

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Dragon's Dogma has what Skyrim doesn't in terms of action and flexibility in combat. However it lacks the encyclopedic and ultra deep world of Tamriel. Anyhow, Dragon's Dogma is pure fun and doesn't put the things easy for the player. I strongly recommend to all who enjoy open world games, exploration and surprises.

Dragon's Dogma

Picked Dragon's Dogma up a week ago and have hardly stopped playing it. Have to say that it can be very punishing at times and early-game you'll find yourself running away a lot, but it just makes the sense of a achievement that much higher.

I live in Sweden and had Dragon's Dogma pre-ordered but wasn't expecting such a fast delivery! It even shipped a couple of days earlier than release. Big props! Will shop again.

Dragon's Dogma

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Dragon's Dogma is, in a sense, a throwback to the older RPGs with some very refreshing elements to it. The inability to fast travel across the wide, expansive map is a welcomed addition on my opinion. It gives the player the opportunity to fully appreciate just how much work is put into the landscapes by the creators. What it lacks in character development (something I cannot fault it on for the next reason) it makes up for in character customisation. The ability to shape your Arisen into any appearance you like is a justifiable reason for his cause of mute. I find this game to be a hybrid of sorts, bringing with it the landscape found in such Elder Scrolls titles, the combat of a more refined Dark Souls, and the climbing of enemies ability found in such games as Shadow of the Colossus. Overall I both enjoyed, and am continuing to enjoy this game.

Dragon's Dogma

I'm not quite sure how to put into words how amazing Dragon's Dogma is? There's a very large open world, where no matter where you go, there is always something interesting going on! Climbing large beasts is great fun, as is leveling up and unlocking the hundreds of different abilities for each class! Every adventurers dream! It is a must buy, definitely my game of the year!

Dragon's Dogma

Dragon's Dogma is a great game. It isn't too easy, so it's a bit of a challenge, with a lot of variety as to what stuff to do as in quests, vocations etc.

Dragon's Dogma Review

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Capcom definitely stepped out of their comfort zone with Dragons Dogma. After several entries into their top series such as Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry, the new IP seemed to come out of nowhere. It also boasts a unique and complex combat system and a different take on adventuring with your friends online, along with a massive world to explore and tons of creatures to topple. All this is supported with awesome gameplay and very realistic scenaries. Such a great game!

bored

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

If I had to sum up Dragon's Dogma in one word it would be boring. In a lot of RPGs you get characters you either love or hate, but you will not get that in this game as they are all the same; they have no personality! They are simple yes master, no master, I'm dying master... nothing set one pawn or NPC apart from another, they're just all flat and boring. For me, it's the one thing that lets it down the most: characters that make the main story boring. This could of been the next Dragon Age, all it needed was a little bit of life in the characters. It's a good try for Capcom and it's been years since their last RPG, which I think was a breath of fire on the PS2. The game itself is solid, it plays and feels like Dark Souls but with a better combat system, with some places in the game being just as unforgiving as Dark Souls. I hope Capcom do try again, this game shows that they can make good RPGs, they just need to take some personality from some of their other games and mix it in.

Great game all round

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

great game, if you like MMO's, RPG's, swords, dragons, medieval or fantasy. you will like this...even if you dont you will probably like dragons dogma. great game from the start. Controls are easy to master and the plot revolves around your attempt to get revenge on a Dragon that (sort of) killed you right at the beginning. Great for those into the fantasy genre.

Cool Game

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Good game, very fun, albeit strange plot. Premise is that you are attacked by a dragon at the beginning, your heart gets eaten but you are basically reborn with an axe to grind against this dragon. Good game, engaging, I mean to go back to this one sometime soon.
