Resident Evil: Revelations continues merging action gameplay with horror and this game is an excellent bite-sized companion piece set between 4 and 5. It's highly enjoyable, especially with the Circle Pad Pro.

Revelations is a treat on 3DS. Successfully mixing the suspense of the early games in the series with some of the action of Resident Evil 4, gameplay is tight and sometimes claustrophobic, which should please the survival horror fans. Graphically this game shows the 3DS to be a hugely capable console, and the 3D is very effective too. As is the background music and sound effects. Popping on some headphones and playing at night makes for some truly unsettling moments. Resident Evil: Revelations is one of the finest games you can buy for 3DS - attractive to Resident Evil newcomers and veterans alike. The bundled Circle Pad Pro is surprisingly good to use - comfortable and solid. It isn't compulsory for Revelations, the game plays fine without, but it does help a lot with movement and aiming, and is certainly not the disaster that many predicted when first announced.

This game is great - the best looking graphics on the 3DS so far. The Circle pad pro is a bit bizarre but I can see it working well for games that require a second control.

This game is Epic. The graphics are the best available on 3DS and the gameplay swaps between old school tense exploration and action packed stages full of enemies. The Raid mode is fantastic and the online coop is highly addictive. I also got the circle pad, but would say it's not necessary for Resident Evil. I've played most of the game without it, and using gyro to aim is better than the circle pad in my opinion.

Resident Evil Revelations re-captures the survival horror in the original Resident Evil games. If your a fan, then this is a MUST for your collection and if your new to Resident Evil, then this is the perfect game to kick start your Resi love affair. The Circle Pad Pro makes the gameplay even easier to pick up, helps keep the action free flowing and is vital to your Resi gaming experience. Put this all together in one nice Zavvi exclusive bundle and you have an excellent bargain at your hands.

Revelations is a fantastic game heading back to Resident Evil's roots. Some brilliantly scary moments (look out for the mayday boss) with superb visuals and audio. The circle Pad Pro is very comfortable and really enhances the controls. I played the demo without the circle pad and it was very difficult to control without it.

Excellent graphics and music make Resident Evil : Revelations one of the best on the 3DS to date. Intertwinned story lines and use of the circle pad makes it easy to play and pick up. An excellent price on Zavvi, definitely recommend it!

I am most impressed with this Zavvi Exclusive. Having played and owned every RE game, I think this game is on a par with Resi Evil 2 and 3. The circle pro pad makes the gaming experience even more intense and you can navigate around the game with such ease, it compliments the 3DS and the game superbly. I would recommend any true gamer or RE fan to purchase this sooner rather than later!! Impressed much would be an understatement.

Revelations takes Resident Evil back to where it should have been for the last 8 years, Survival Horror. Mixed with the long honed control system first seen in RE4, this IS horror. Of course there are segments where basically all you have to do is unleash hell on everything that moves, but on the whole, claustraphobic hallways and blind corners are your home here and Resident Evil hasn't been better in a VERY long time. Plus, with this bundle, included is Nintendo's Circle Pad Pro which is invaluable for this game.

Revelations returns to it's horror roots. The claustrophobic setting of the boat is reminiscent of the mansion from the series first game, and it's a case of making every bullet count. All of this adds up to a game that finally puts the horror back into survival horror. Technically, this game pushes the 3DS further than any game before it, it looks gorgeous. The sound too helps both tension and atmosphere, definitely one to play with headphones in. The 3D effects don't add a great deal to gameplay, but I kept them on all the same as they're really well implemented. The only downside is Capcom's now famous bad storytelling and dialogue. The circle pad itself is a very ugly, but surprisingly useful device that I hope gets used in many more games to come. I can't imagine playing revelations without it.
