Soul Calibur V: The Official Guide is an awesome book. It's very beautiful and very useful. I use it as a reference guide. There is a lot of useful information. This has all the moves of every character in detail. Will it make you a better player? Probably not. But you will learn new moves and strategies sooner. A lot of practice will still be needed to become better.

This is probably the best Guide I've ever bought. Everyone, who wants to play Soul Calibur V and get to spheres of pro gamers, should consider buying it.

I am very impressed with this Soul Calibur V: The Official Guide. First of all, the guide helps you with the basics on SC5, in a very detailed way. Not only do you have movesets and framedata, but you also get useful combo information, along with information about when to use certain attacks. It's very useful for mastering any character, for both beginner and veteran players. Secondly, for character creation purposes, there are detailed lists of the available items. Character creation is still as fun as ever, so having this reference around is very useful. Lastly, the book itself is of excellent quality. The hardcover is durable and the pages feels good when flipping over. This makes it very easy to look up information on anything SC5. All in all, if you are even a bit of a Soul Calibur fan, this guide is highly recommended since it offers a lot of quality content for your money.

I loved this guide. Great information about frame data, offence and defence of every single character. You can really improve your skills no matter what level you are. It also has a biography of each character, great artwork, and a detailed training mode. If you're a Soul Calibur fan then this is a must have. 5*.
