Back to the oldies; fast, nice, powerful, punchy, bloody good. Really nice reboot for this game. The best Mortal Kombat by far!
All DLC in one pack, definitely worth the money.
Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition is just awesome! It's a lot of fun, with its multiplayer activities and other cool stuff.
Good game for a good company. We use it in our office to reduce stress!
Just perfect! Such a good game!
I was playing video games when the original MK came out and have been a fan through the series, although the move to 3D from 2D did have it's problems, this installment though is bang on for fans and new players.
This series had long lost its appeal, but Mortal Kombat:Komplete Edition brings it back! Even if you haven't played the originals, you will still love the story, and for the veterans, there's a lot to like. You can see the passion the developers have for the series, imprinted in this game. The combat mechanics are easy to grasp, and offer some complexity for the more hardcore gamers. The online play sadly has a bit of a lag problem, but when you find an opponent with a good connection, it's a joy. You have a lot of stuff to unlock including several game modes.
Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition is a great title. You get multiple options to choose from classic fights through to multiplayer modes. Despite the age being very high, it is still a good game to play at home among adult players.
I have played many different versions of Mortal Kombat, and on many different platforms, but one thing has never changed, until now; Raiden was always my go-to-god. This new version has the best array of characters and amazing power moves that have seen me scorn my lightening-toting friend for the first time. Even though old lightening hands is my first love, the new Kombatants have, in an incredible display of violence, fought their way to the forefront of my choice of fighters with their cheesy lines ("Where there's Smoke, there's fire"), and disturbing x-ray moves, where you watch in slow-mo x-ray vision as your opponent destroys you (Johnny Cage x-ray crotch punch, anyone?). The Komplete Edition is so much fun. It is definitely the best version yet, but absolutely not for kids or the feint of heart! But it has got me thinking, what would my Mortal Kombat character be? My partner lives in fear that one day, I'll figure it out. Lucky for him, the crotch punching move has already been taken.
This update on the 2011 release is well worth your time. Zavvi are providing you with a high rated fighter for pocket money price. The additional characters fit nicely in the ample roster (love Freddy Krueger, whoever added him is a genius). If your crazy about fighting games and getting bored of first person shooters check it out. Not to be missed. 5 STARS!
