Best thing about this game is the, almost constant, jaded narrative by Max which verges on comedy - I loved it. Bullet time is ace as well. You do feel that you're just playing a small part in a film with little control but then it is a brilliant film. All in all a different kind of game and that can't be bad.

A game that will gave to you many hours of entertainment!

Max Payne 3 is a fantastic third person shooter game that offers a gritty and serious cinematic experience. There is brilliant detail everywhere and it have a unique feel. The single player campaign is about 12-15 hours. A must have title for your collection!

Rockstar knows how to make great games. Max Payne 3 has everything that made Max famous in the world of video games, only better. There's bullet time, improved graphics and game play, plus TV-series style narration. However I miss Remedy's original feel, especially for the lack of comic-like narrative, and the setting in Brazil lacks New York's fashion. Anyway, this is undoubtedly a great game, with a very good longevity and game play, and the multi-player variation will keep you playing for a long time. I recommend it at this low price.

I'm a big Max Payne fan and Max Payne 3 is/was amazing, I just finished the game a week ago and I'm really waiting for something more from Rockstar.

All-in-all a great game, which kept me entertained for some hours. Playing time is ok, not too short nor too long for a shooter. The cutscenes could be a bit shorter though I think. Sometimes you get the feeling you're rather playing an interactive movie than a video game. Made me feel getting interrupted playing the game when lasting a bit too long from time to time. Still worth the money I paid for and worth playing through a second time.

Hello Max and welcome pain! After almost a decade since Max Payne 2 was released, I've finally had the honour of playing the third part of the Max Payne series. The same old Max is back in town with the same old breathtaking Bullet Time, but this time much more brutal, and with much more breathtaking scenery. The game moves backwards and forwards in time so the player knows what has happened in Max's life since the last game. Besides the fact that the 'back in time' episodes help the player understand the plot, it also lets you play in different places and see the old Max character again. The game took me some time to complete and every time I found myself dead in the middle of a brutal gun fight I just wanted to go back into action! The visuals, voice acting and the soundtrack are just excellent and really add up to the overall game experience. If your a Max fan, or even if your not, do yourself a favour and play the game. You won't regret.
