If you liked the first two games, then you'll love Max Payne 3. Well worth the wait. Zavvi were as quick and efficient as ever in delivery, even with the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Just after playing the first chapter I bought the first two, just to play them all. You die a lot in this one, but I honestly think it's easier to play than the others, specially if you don't want to depend on bullet time. It combines the comic book of former Max Payne (without the "noir" flavor) with a more action-comic / movie oriented kind of game. You can see Max getting more and more pain in a way not unlike Mel Gibson or Bruce Willis police movies (I'm thinking on Lethal Weapon and Die Hard series, between others), and sympathize with him in his sense of justice and revenge. Really a wonderful game

Max Payne 3 is one of the most fantastic games I've ever played!

This game is, as usual for a Rockstar game, a 'must have' - brilliant story, graphics, and effects.

Max Payne 3 has been in the making for a long time and does it deliver on what was promised? Not entirely but you can be sure that it's a memorable albeit short ride. The Good: + Amazing presentation, graphics are stunning, there's an incredible amount of detail in character animations, environments are gorgeous to look at, it's accompanied by excellent voice-work and soothing music. + Great gun battles, it's an action game through and through, even better it manages to change things up quite a bit. + Dark cinematic story, the writers at Rockstar do a good job in wanting to keep you invested in what's the next big revelation and what might be in store for our hero. The Bad: - Despite the great presentation, the overuse of flashy video effects combined with the onscreen text might not be to everyone's liking. - A longer game doesn't always mean that it will be better, though I wished the game had been just a little bit longer.

I like how Max Payne 3 is difficult in some parts, the graphics are very detailed, destructible, the bullet time is still great after using it several time. A nice replay value, even though cut scene can't be skipped due to the download.

Max Payne 3 is a very funny game with a good story.
