Max Payne 3 is a great game. It has a great story, is full of action, and has some brilliant gameplay. The slow-mo and gunplay works great. It is a must-buy for fans of shooters. Multiplayer is also great, would strongly recommend.

As with most of the old school gamers I was genuinely excited to see that one of my favourite game characters Max Payne was making his long awaited return to the gaming market. The game itself is basically classic Max Payne madness, popping off head shots like they were going out of fashion. But the four star rating is because as the story moved along, the crazier it seemed to get. The controls were incredibly smooth, which was a relief as I only ever played the last two games on the PC (which I still would prefer as the mouse is easier for aiming) and everything that made Max Payne in the first two is very much still here, which was an even bigger relief. All in all a very enjoyable game that took me back to my youth in all its bloody, slow mo glory.

Max Payne is back. Not in his usual dark noir surrounding, but never-the-less, better than ever. Featuring a brilliant and moving story of a broken man trying to fix failures he has made, Max tries to fight not only dozens of very intelligent AI enemies, but also his inner demons. Bullet-time action meets a twisting and thrilling story worth playing again and again. The story has some very great movie moments and are never repetitive. Finished the story, but what now?! Try the awesome multiplayer experience. Team deathmatch and many many more exciting game modes make this game an experience, that is worth more than a try! Zavvi service was excellent like always. Max Payne 3 is totally amazing. It has great graphics, great sound and music, and amazing story-telling, but its check points make me cry. I played Max Payne 3 on the hardest difficulty, and to the next checkpoint I need to kill 4 groups of enemies with almost no health, and at the battle with the last group, I lost and started all again, a few times. So, the game is great and must buy, but try playing at lower difficulty before starting at the hardest.

Aside from the puntastic title and achievements, Max Payne 3 offers a great campaign and a solid multiplayer. The slow-mo and gunplay works great. It's a bit gory but not over the top.

I always had been a fan for Max Payne Games, I enjoyed the way the story is told and the graphics, When I first knew that there will be a new Max Payne, I was too excited about and when the trails are out. I decided to pre-order the game. The story starts after Max tries to have a life after Morning his family for years. He was hired as a bodyguard in Brazil. protecting a wealthy family who seemed to have people envy them for their wealth. The boss, his wife and his brother were kidnapped while in a charity party and Max was able to get them back before leaving the building, the problem that the mob didn't stop after that trial , in the second chapter, while they were in a disco, celebrating they are still alive. The mob hits again and this time, they were successful to kidnap the wife. The game goes on as you try to find the wife. The game is great. It is like any other Rockstar game - you feel the quality from the off. The shooting is great, and the animation is well designed. I really love Max Payne 3, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves shooter games.
