Rayman Origins is a fantastic platformer. From the fluid controls to the fantastic high-definition 2D graphics to the phenomenal music, this game is a pure joy to play, and the PC version is definitely the best of the lot. Apart from being the most affordable, it also plays in higher resolutions than the console versions and allows the use of any controller with at least one shoulder button and two face buttons.

Finally, an old-style Rayman game. Rayman Origins is a must-have for all retro game and platform lovers. It's got solid and funny gameplay, pleasant graphics and good longevity. Movements are good with the analog sticks. The only bad thing about this game is the co-op mode, as it's restricted to local play.

Rayman Origins is nothing less than a masterpiece. After so many years we have finally received a game that deserves to be called Rayman. I cannot find a single part of this game that isn't brilliant. Characters, locations, atmosphere and soundtrack are one of the best that I've seen in a game for many years. This 2D platformer with 3D effects will grab you and will hold you for many hours of amazing gameplay sequnces which you'll wish to play over and over again. This time Ubisoft have really hit the spot, and it would be a sin not to buy and try this amazing game. It's so universal that anyone from 7 to 107 can play it, and once you start to play it you'll never lose a smile from your face. The game comes with support for co-op play for up to 4 players which is even more amazing when you play the game with your friends and family together.
