liked it alot .. as i order more of the classic doctor who dvd, i like the show even more.
As a old Doctor Who episode it was quite good for the special effects of the time with one of the original Doctor Who's (Tom Baker).
Nightmare of Eden is a great Doctor Who adventure, as long as you can look past the slightly flimsy sets and the rather Muppet like aliens. Although when I first saw this aged 8 I actually found the monsters pretty scary! Tom Baker is a fantastic Doctor and deserves his reputation as one of the best. The overall story is a very clever one, with some fun ideas. Written by Wallace and Gromit's Bob Baker with script editing duties belonging to Douglas Adams of Hitch Hikers fame. This is a must buy for nostalgia buffs or fans of the new series that want to see a campy 1979 slice of classic Doctor Who. The accompanying extras and documentaries are superbly made and there's much to learn about the terrible atmosphere on set throughout the shooting of this story. It's amazing the actual episodes appear as much fun on screen, with the back biting going on behind the scenes. As Doctor Who DVDs go it might not be the best story but there's much to enjoy and I give it 4 stars.
