Assassin's Creed 3 is definitely the best of the saga. AC3 sets its plot during the American Revolution. It's a radical change compared to Italy, with great nature environments and a new, charismatic hero.
Bought this game for my nephew as a Christmas present - he absolutely loves it and says it is one of the best games EVER.
