Pokemon Black 2 was exactly what I was looking for to get me back into the Pokemon franchise. The camera rotation adds a good depth to the field and make you feel fully immersed, as well as bringing back the old Pokemon from generations 1-4. I highly recommend this game for those who are thinking of getting back into the Pokemon series.

Pokemon Black 2 is excellent.

Pokemon Black Version 2 is an excellent game that follows the same format as all the previous Pokemon games. That being said, it still feels fresh and leads to hours of enjoyment as there are so many side quests and mind games you can do to keep you busy if you don't want to focus too much on the main quest. Despite what the game's title may suggest, it isn't just an upgraded version of Pokemon Black, but rather a sequel to the previous game. So, if you've played Pokemon Black/White or like Pokemon in general, you should definitely get this game. (The sooner the better as Nintendo/Game Freak are still currently offering event Pokemon for a limited time through mystery gifts.)

If you've played any Pokemon game before then you pretty much know what you're going to get: a deep and intuitive RPG with one hell of a lot of Pokemon to catch. However Black 2 builds on the revolution that was the original Black by adding a few extra features and some awesome Pokemon being available very early in the game. It might be mostly more of the same but there could be a couple of surprises in store here. Having said that, more of the same isn't exactly always a bad thing. So if you're a Pokemon fan or want a good RPG and huge amounts of hours of play available, then this will be perfect. If you're bored of Pokemon, you'll quickly get bored of this. An excellent addition to the Pokemon series.

Pokemon Black 2 is a superb game. It's lots of fun and great for anyone who has played either Pokemon Black and White, or any of the previous games in the series. There's quite a lot of new content such as a new storyline, new areas to explore and changes to the existing locations from Black/White.

It's definitely the same game you played 2 years ago but there's something rather glorious about getting such a high profile and well made game on a system that is all but obsolete. This is the DS's swan song so you owe it to yourself (and the system) to get it.
