PES 2013 was meant as an early present for my son, and he has not been off the game since he was given it. He has had the previous one and I think it is probably the best one yet.

Not much difference between PES 2012 and 2013. Think of getting on the 'FIFA' train.

PES 2013 is a top Game. It's probably the best PES ever!

PES 2013: Pro Evolution Soccer is a really good game. It's different from FIFA but so good.

PES 2013 offers not so much different settings but it has wonderful graphics and ball physics. The movements of the players is very detailed and looks good but I think the new Fifa is much better this year.

Still not at the glory days of the PS2 versions, but definitely improving year on year.

The last Pro Evo I bought was PES 2011, so I thought I'd upgrade to the latest edition. The main section I'm interested in is Master League Online where you play online and create your own teams. Unfortunately due to an early bug (according to the forums) there are lots and lots of teams with excellent players, rather than the default players you start with - even though the game has only been released a few weeks ago. This makes winning very difficult, although when you do very rewarding, but overall has severely lowered my opinion of this game. The new controls are interesting, but you don't have to use them, the through ball is far less effective than 2011, which is no bad thing but requires getting used to, but scoring (if you can get into a decent position) is far easier. Overall it's a good game, but the early bug is an issue - not sure if this can be sorted out through patches or over time as new people buy the game. Hopefully they will improve the matchmaking system so that players of a similar level are actually playing each other - I can't quite believe I'm the only one on there that has less than a 600 rating, or has everyone else left in disgust!!

PES 2013 is a must buy if you love football, even if you have fifa get this you wont be disappointed.
