If you loved Arkham Asylum, you will love Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition, because it is the same game play with far more things. There's new characters to play with, new kind of side quests and new weapons. It is really well done.

Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition is a very nice game. It's based on fighting and stealth actions. It never gets boring and it's quite long. The only thing I didn't like is that Batman looks like a body builder (and still takes a lot of punches to beat the enemies). I loved the extras of the game of the year edition but you get them at the end of the game - it would have been better to have them early on to use them a little more (like all the costumes).

Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition is an excellent game. It's the greatest Batman game ever.

Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition gives hours of extra game play compared to Arkham Asylum. I already had the regular version, but bought this version only for the extras and I still can't have enough of it.

The formula of the bigger - the better on sequels usually doesn't work. It definitely does on Arkham City. As the title suggest, the setting of the game is expanded to a bigger territory. Part of Gotham is isolated to capture the biggest criminals of Gotham, so the scope of the game is much bigger. There are a ton of new equipment, new combo moves and new gliding techniques etc. Almost every major character in the Batman mythos is in the game, many are part of the main story, and some are in side missions. Speaking of side missions, in the first game, side missions were entirely focused on Riddler's trophies and riddles. In this game, there are a lot more riddles and trophies. And when you find a certain amount of them, you get special missions from the Riddler (which I won't spoil). There are many other side missions (11) in which other characters and villians from the mythos appear. You can literally play the game for weeks, playtime is almost like in RPG games. That is if you want to finish all the main and side missions. Game of the year edition includes all the DLC content, including Catwoman as a playable character in the main story, Robin who is playable in both the challenges and Harley Quinn's revenge and Nightwing in challenge maps. Harley Quinn's revenge storyline takes place after the main story. Arkham City is a masterpiece, it is on of the best games I've played on the PS3. If you have a PS3 buy the game of the year edition. If you don't, you are missing out a lot.

It is an amazing game, I haven´t never played a game as good as this. It is totally recomended. Simply a masterpiece.
