Really good purchase great storyline thrilling and entertaining

Rolf Lassgard establishes clear blue water between his portrayal of Wallander and this new role as a profiler for the police. Always watchable, he plays a broken man, haunted by the death of both his wife and daughter in the 2004 Asian tsunami. His grief is palpable but it is through a return to his work as a profiler that he finds a measure of redemption. On the disc there are two separate cases, one involving a dead 15-year old who had an affair with a teacher, and the other a copy-cat serial killer, who models himself on someone Bergman has already caught. His work in resolving the cases helps to move him from being an unsympathetic character towards becoming a decent human being again. Without wishing to give away a major plot twist, he finds peace at the end through an unexpected family revelation. His sparring with a young, and hostile, policewoman is predictable but good fun and the plots are satisfyingly credible and convoluted. This is an absorbing and entertaining 3 hours and I heartily recommend it.
