Dead Space 3 is a great third person shooter game. Yes, you read that right. DS3 feels more like a shooter than a survival horror game. There are some scares, but you can't feel the loneliness that dominated the first two games. If you play solo you will miss a lot of the content. I would recommend that you play this game co-op with a friend. The introduction of the microtransactions is probably not a wise choice, but on the other hand, anything that you can buy with microtransactions you can win it in the game. This isn't one of those games where you will need to pay to progress. The difficulty is just about right.

Its Dead Space with a twist. Its a solid single player game that improves immensely when you are joined by a friend. Its not quite as horror focused as the first two, however co-op play puts a fun spin on it.

Having played the previous two installations of Dead Space, Dead Space 3 was a must buy for me. My only minor gripe is that the graphics look a tad sub-par on the PC, but don't let that put you off, this game oozes atmosphere. If you like sci-fi and horror, Dead Space fuses them together perfectly. Just remember to bring spare pants or only play in the daylight!

Dead Space 3 is a great game but not quite as scary as the first 2 instalments. Probably because we're expecting things to jump out now! It's well worth getting if you are a fan of the series. Also Dead Space 3 adds in a lot more re-playability with the new co-op game mode, enjoy!
