The game arrived as estimated and the game it self is phenomenal at best. The attention to detail and the story are so gripping I couldn't put the controller down and still after completing it I cannot stop playing. I would gladly recommend this game to everyone.

Just finished playing through the story. It is so story driven, full of cutscenes but it does not get tedious. In fact, it makes the gameplay and story richer. The gameplay mechanics are very fluid and also varied, example some scenes are meant to be played all out attack whilst others require stealth and patience. Last but not least, the graphics are breath taking.

Everything about The Last of Us is top notch. The story is impeccable, gameplay feels unique (and is most importantly fun) and on top of that you're given an incredibly fresh multiplayer mode which will keep you coming back for more. The single player mode is pretty long though, so don't worry if multiplayer isn't for you. If you're looking for one of the best gaming experiences available on PS3, you need this game. 5/5 from me.

The Last of Us is by far one of the best games of this generation (if not the best). The graphics are top-notch, the gameplay is intriguing and the story combined with such an amazing soundtrack that will leave you in tears.

The Last of Us was awesome. The story was great. It took to me something like a week to finish it, but it was fun. I recommended this game to those who love shooting and stealth.

The Last of Us is the best exclusive game the PS3 has to offer. It's been a long time since i've played a game with such quality. The last game I played that I can compare it to, is BioShock 1. This game is absolutely perfect in every way. The Graphics are gorgeous for an old system. They really nailed it this time. Far better than Uncharted 2. This game is a system seller. Get it !!!!

It's not often that you come across this kind type of game. And as I use games for my hobby/spare time I want them to entertain me. Not to give me a hard time, a downer story and no fun at all (its the same thing I want with the movies, to relax me and entertain me). Well, The Last of Us is different. And its nothing like Uncharted if you are wondering. In Uncharted games (and I've finished all 3) I've always knew that everything will be alright, that they will find the treasure, and it will have a happy ending. This one however, no. This game is dark, its setting, world and surroundings are dark. World fields hopeless, and it generated in me a very scary feeling of what if that would really happen. And in that decaying world, developer masterfully tells one really personal story, a story that made me cry more than once (and i'm a grown man). I guess that happened because it is really a human story, not a superhero one, and it touches on a very delicate human nature, that we sometimes want what is best for ourselves, although we are all talking about a greater good. Not wanting to spoil the story for you, the gameplay is good. It holds up with the story, and it is slow paced, but it feels really good. Also, there is multiplayer mode that I've tried and really liked. It recreates the tension of the main game, and I think I will spend more time with it. But do not touch it until you finish the game. If you own PS3, get this game, take a long weekend and finish it (took me around 19 hours on normal setting). You will think about it for a long time afterwards, it is that deep experience. If you don't own PS3, you are missing a lot. Probably the best story I've played in years (most human one, for sure!). And after all, we are all humans...

The Last of Us is the best game of this year. It features awesome graphics and a wonderful story! This is a need to buy game for every PS3 owner.
