hitman

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Overall, this Hitman: HD Trilogy collection isn't something to be missed out on. For veterans and newcomers alike, it is very good value for money. The games are all solid, 47 will be as recognisable as ever to series veterans, and he'll be extremely welcoming to newcomers. Things like the outdated controls are understandable, and at times the voice acting is atrocious but all you can do is laugh. Hitman didn't get its praise for nothing. Experience this great series in new HD quality! I certainly haven't regretted it. Neither will you.

Hitman, the way it should be!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is more like it! The Hitman games from the last generation of home consoles: Hitman 2, Hitman Contracts and Hitman Bloodmoney. The games can't be faulted, Bloodmoney can't be bettered it seems. Hitman 2 is still a solid title all these years on and Contracts is still enjoyable too. If you haven't played these you really should and if you have played them before, they are well worth revisiting. Hitman 2 and Contracts are together on one disc with Bloodmoney on a second separate disc. Which is actually just a re-issue of the 360 version already available on its own. As a result if you already own or have played Bloodmoney on your 360 it will use your existing saves and any achievements you already have. Hitman 2 and Contracts share the 1000GS points available with 500 each.

The Hitman: HD Trilogy is a great collection for so little money. It's almost a sin not buying these past masterpieces in HD.

Hitman: HD Trilogy is a great series for those that like a bit of strategy instead of the usual first person blasters, and these three titles for a tenner is great value. Get it!

Could be excellent

First up, I was really looking forward to playing the old games again, as Hitman 2 & 3 are excellent. Only downfall is Blood Money, as there is the same glitch that was in the stand alone version for the 360, that won't run via HDMI - you have to switch something on the system using the old video cables to be able to play it.

Blast from the past!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I remember playing a lot of the old Hitman games on PS1 and PS2 when I was in my teen years, so playing a lot of these old games with improved graphics is not only nostalgic, but it's like playing the game for the first time. I really enjoy the HD Collection and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan to the Hitman series.
