This is a first class drama about life in the 1900

Downton Abbey - Series 1-3 and Christmas Special is a really good box set to watch.

I'm a huge fan of the series and I had it delivered straight from England because I cannot wait for the DVD coming out in Germany... I'm already waiting for the 4th series and will order that one from here too. Downton Abbey reminds me a little of "The house on Eaton Place" but in my opinion the characters from Downton are much more lovable, fresher and not as stiff and dusty as the others... I discovered the series only because I'm also a huge fan of Sherlock the series (every Sherlock ever written or shown on TV in fact) and by browsing the internet I stumbled over it and since I'm also a Jane Austen fan I knew this was right up my street and I had to have it. And it did not fail me - I'm a real addict now... It is a killer that delivery from GB to Germany takes 15 days but much better than wait for 6 months for the German DVD. Also there are much better prices here... Highly recommend it!
