Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is a gorgeous game with high difficulty levels. Prepare To Die is the right title for this game.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is one of the last hard games still remaining. You will probably die more than ever in your gaming experience but at the end you will get true satisfaction.

Dark Souls, GOTY 200ever!

After Demons Souls this is another difficult but very entertaining game! If you dare to play very difficult games then this is for you. If you want just to relax leave this game and choose something else.

Hard but fair

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

If you want a truly satisfying but also a very hard game, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition should be your choice. However this is not for the faint-hearted. Prepare to repeat the same sequence 15 times in a row. But when it is done, you will be in heaven.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is a great challenging game that includes Patch 1.06 and the DLC Artorias Abyss for Dark Souls already.

Prepare to Die, indeed..

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

The title says it all. Dark Souls is old-school to its roots, demanding thinking and the patience to develop certain skills. It is a game that, in contrast to the most modern mainstream genres today, gives the player an opportunity to feel the reward after the defeat of a Boss like no other. Actually, almost every creature in Dark Soul's world is like a "boss", creating the need for a strategic approach on battles and a careful development of the player's character. Equipment and abilities are important, but their careful managing is more than just an addition. It is necessary to go further into its world. Something that really hit the attention of the player is the feel of the character's weight on the game pad. It's absolutely phenomenal! Every little move has impact to the battle, giving in that way more to the need of preparing before going further. Maybe it's not a technical miracle, but it's aesthetics are more than enough to create an atmosphere of a forsaken place.
