Brilliant product. As a fan of the show and movies, I was delighted with this boxset, it has loads of great special features and is amazing value. Delivered quickly I was fully satisfied with this purchase.

Well presented box set. All 9 seasons Plus both movies. The first 4 seasons were made in 4.3 but dont let that spoil this purchase. This show is so atmospheric its addictive. A true collectors edition must have!

At long last, I've managed to replace my old VHS sets of X Files with the DVD versions at a reasonable cost. With regard to the actual television programs, the only complaint would be that the commercial breaks haven't been edited out and you still get the momentary black screen that was in the series when it was first broadcast. The set comes in 3 (2 large, 1 smaller) DVD cases with seasons 1-4 in one, seasons 5-8 + 1st movie (in the correct place) in the second and season 9 and the last move in the 3rd, smaller case. 4 episodes per disk makes for a lot of disks but all the old magic is there. Sleeve notes consist of episode names only but at the price for all 9 series and both films, this was something of a bargain.

A present so I have not opened it. It looks excellent, good value for money and arrived very quickly.

When I found this box set for such a good price I immediately knew I just had to order it. I remember being an X-Files fan when I was a kid, and I remember discussing the episodes in school the day after they were aired. The other day as I was reminiscing about this show and I have decided to re-watch it in its entirety. Right from the get go I was determined to have a hard copy of this great show. As I started watching the episodes I realized that I only saw most of season 1 mainly, and from the rest I only saw some sporadic episodes, that is why I don't regret buying the box set. The show itself is just the way I remembered: interesting, riveting, thought-inducing, and scary at points. I have to say, however, that watching it as an adult I don't find it nearly as scary as I did when I was a kid. I am totally satisfied with the product, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested, but is still hesitating.

A little bit disappointed with the packaging, but having said that it's the content that counts and that's brilliant. The X Files - Seasons 1-9 plus Movies is still as good now as it was 20 years ago.

Being a big fan of The X files and already owning a few VHS Tapes and DDS ... I couldn't miss out on this X Files Seasons 1-9 plus Movies set, especially with the price. It comes in a very compact case (for 52 discs) and looks fantastic with the rest of DVD Boxsets. I would truly recommend this to anyone who likes paranormal/aliens etc.
