I saw Lawless at the movies it's so brilliant had to get it on blu ray or DVD. It's a fantastic story etc. A must buy!

If you like Tom Hardy you will love Lawless. It features typical violence for his kind of films and plenty of action. I would recommend this film.

Lawless is probably one of the best films of 2012, it's got a great cast who really work well together and it's a great story that is based on a true story set from the prohibition era. You'll like this whether you like gangster movies or are just up for a good crime drama.

Marvellous film, I really enjoyed it! Shea plays a great part, as do all the other actors. One of my all-time favourites, for sure!

This is a great film by John Hillcoat (director of The Proposition). Lawless is a brutal and captivating, part gangster film, part love story, with a lot of drama and violence thrown in for good measure. Highly recommended!

Lawless is an excellent film based on true events. It's well shot with a good cast. It's set in the prohibition period. It's a good addition to any film collection.

Based on the true story of the Bondurant brothers which I found very entertaining. As you would expect from the cast, a powerful and seamless performance which helps to give an insight into the world of bootlegging in Virgina during prohibition in the 20's. Beautifully filmed and directed which definitely makes it a film to watch. I found it to be a rounded version of the TV Series Boardwalk Empire, which is more around the posh upper class bootlegging, whilst Lawless seems more real, country style bootlegging. Tom Hardy gets 5* for performance as does Guy Pearce 5*. Not so keen on Shia LaBeouf, but gives a decent performance all the same 3*. The ther Bondurant brother is played by Jason Clarke, who also gives a good performance. All in all a good watch which makes Lawless definitely "one to see".

Very good Movie although Tom Hardy was not stretched to his full ability which is awsome!

Brilliant film! Some humour, drama and great acting! Everything a great film needs. Would definitely recommend it.
