My daughter wanted this Apple iPod touch for her birthday. It is a great little machine, which she is finding quite easy to use (aged 10). She can keep in touch with her friends with Facetime and no cost as it is all via broadband. She has been quite canny with it and has only downloaded free apps - some of the games are amazing and the cost of the ipod is soon offset by not spending £25 a time on games for, for example, a DS or a PSP. She can take pictures and videos - my only reservation is that the internal memory can't be expanded and that you have to use iTunes to move pictures/videos/music on and off the device. In all ,a great device which has a lot of the functions of an iPhone but much cheaper and no contract costs. Note: I have a Nokia phone and we discovered it will act as a WiFi hotspot so even when we are away from home she can message her friends.

Really impressed with my iPod touch. Plenty of storage space and it is a lot quicker than my old gen 1 iPod touch.

I purchased the 1st generation iPod Touch when they were first released and I have loved the look of them ever since, when I learned they were going to change the shape for the 5th generation, I wanted to get the last perfected model of the iPod Touch before they were discontinued. I chose the 4th Generation as it was the most updated Touch model because they would now start again from scratch with the new shape on the 5th gen. Zavvi had the best price out there and it arrived in no time, its so thin, perfect amount of capacity and just looks great, definitely recommend.

The Apple iPod touch 4th Gen 16GB Black does what it says on the tin and does it well.
