This Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset is the best wireless headset I have used. The sound quality is top notch and I have had no problems connecting to the Xbox like some suggest. It's a good price as well! I would recommend!

The Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset is a first class product. The only problem is that the batteries go dead quickly.

Having "broken" my X41s I needed a replacement. Looking at just a cheaper set and found these much cheaper than everywhere else on Zavvi, awesome. I plugged the Turtle Beach XP500 in and the difference over the X41s is apparent. They're better made, more robust and with much more technology. The one big thing over the X41 is that they are totally wireless which is great. The X41s are a great headset but the wire from the controller to the headset is like using the standard headphone from a physical point of view. Then to be able to have 2 bluetooth devices connected is great as you just answer a call while playing just with the press of a button, brilliant. Other reviews talk about the interference from the wireless signal but I have had none at all. My router sits 3 foot away and my living room must be full of wireless signals (tech freak) and yet the headphones are crystal clear. Leave it with you but I would recommend these all day. One day I may try another make but why bother, if it ain't broke don't fix it (unless you blow your old ones up of course).

PROS: Excellent value, great product, sounds are awesome, everything you need and more. CONS: Awkward to adjust settings whilst gaming, saps batteries.

I got the Trittion AX Pro's V2 and this Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset. These are well worth the money, and is just a better headset if you want wireless and don't mind charging batteries for it!

Having just become a father, I was looking for a wireless surround sound headset that would work with both my Xbox 360 and my PC (both of which are hooked up to my TV) so I could play games and watch TV/movies without waking my daughter up. After a lot of searching, I decided that these looked like they offered the best value for money... but I was surprised at just how good they are. Even on the default settings, I'm hearing sound in-game that I'd never noticed before, even when using my normal cinema surround sound. Everything is crisp and clear. In fact, they are so good, I struggle to play games without them! One thing I would point out is that while they are extremely easy to setup on the Xbox 360, PC setup can be a bit of a pain (depending on your hardware/software). I was using the optical out from my Creative X-Fi sound card but didn't realise that it only outputs stereo over optical and didn't support DTS as standard. It's also really helpful to have the headset connected to my phone via bluetooth while I'm playing so I never miss call!

This Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset is a great set of headphones. I play COD on them and the sound is very good. They're comfortable on your ears too. Get yourself a set.

The Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset appears to be a sturdy, well built pair of headphones. The wireless box that connects to the Xbox or PS3 and transmits the signal to the headset is small and works fine with a reasonable range. The wireless hiss experienced with all headsets I have used is minimal and much better than the official PS3 headset. The quality of the sound is very good and there are a number of options to choose from. The small dongle that attaches to to Xbox controller works well and makes this headset the only true wireless headset for the Xbox 360. The problem is it's absolutely rubbish for noise control. I use headsets so I don't disturb other people in the same room. With this set anyone within the same room can hear every gunshot and voice the user can hear. If there had been any other true wireless headsets to choose from these would have gone back the day I opened them. The ear cushions are hard not too comfortable and appear to be the same as the lower priced headsets from Turtle Beach - I'm not impressed at all with the long term comfort. So in summary if you want true wireless are can deal with zero noise control and poor comfort buy these - if only Bose made a gaming headset!
