I spent weeks comparing gaming headsets from all different companies. The most mentioned factor about turtle beaches was that they are not durable. This is definitely not the case, I've had these for a week now and they are very solid! There does not look to be a single weak point on the headset! They are also unbelievably comfortable and ive worn them in gaming sessions of up to 6 or 7 hours without a problem! I also have not experienced any wireless interference and my xbox 360 is right beside my wireless router. This is an excellent piece of kit and should definitely be snapped.

I bought this Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset as an upgrade from my X41's. I was not disappointed! They look amazing, are very comfortable to wear and have 9 presets for different sorts of games. The wireless chat is a superb feature too.

Fantastic headset for the price, easy to use and set up with various devices. Options for the Xbox are brilliant. Dolby 7.1 really makes a difference and the headset is hugely customisable within the settings. Most definitely one of the best headsets for the Xbox.

The Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset is well worth the money. The sound clarity and background noises you can hear are fantastic. It's 10 times clearer than the TV or monitor sound. Hear your enemy sneaking up, a gun being cocked, your shell casings falling on the ground. You just lose yourself, and all sense of time.

The headphones are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear, in fact, after a few minutes you forget you are wearing them. The controls are easy to use and give a great deal of scope with the gaming experience, especially as they are totally wireless when used in conjunction with the blue-tooth dongle for wireless chat over Xbox 360. I have had a number of headphones over the past six years or so and these have to be the best that I have used and purchased. To sum it up, at this price these are incredible value for money and at the top end of gaming headsets.

The sound from this Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset is awesome. You get a real feeling of total immersion. The XP500 boasts 7.1 surround sound, and when connected to the Sky HD optical out, you certainly get the effects that you're looking for. Connecting to Xbox was a slightly different matter. I didn't want to forsake my HDMI connection and switch to a component, so opted in the end for connecting via optical out from my TV. The effect is good, but I would probably be better taking audio direct from my Xbox. My only niggle is that there is slight voice distortion when on Xbox chat, but this affects other folks and seems restricted to my particular headset. I've heard other folks on their XP500s and their voice is fine. .

This Turtle Beach XP500 Pro Gaming Headset is awesome. The sound is amazing, with several different presets to suit each person's preference. I purchased it for the Xbox and the sound is so good that I purchased another for my PS3 as well.
