This movie is great fun and a great way to show off your fancy 3D TV. Its storyline could seem pretty basic (a friend of mine called it a "guy in a box movie" but it's amazing to see what the filmmakers managed to cram into a story set inside such a tight environment. Every action piece has a distinct look and it's impossible to get bored. The great use of 3D makes it a must own for HD enthusiasts. Oh, and as always, great price and delivery from Zavvi !

The movie is 3- 3.5 and is much more like the comic book dredd although still a bit lenient when delivering justice. I upped the score to 4/5 because the quality of the 3d is good particularly in the slowmo bits and the extra vibrancy of the colour really enhances things. Overall plenty of action and decent sound.

Such a good film with great 3D effects, especially during the slo-mo scenes. Made with great respect to the source material by a crew who loved the world so much that they're still trying to get a sequel made. Recommended for Dredd fans and action buffs. Here's hoping for another.

Dredd 3D is the best Dredd movie out there. It's true to the comic in all parts, and is on Blu-ray. It is a must have for all Dredd fans.

Could have been made better with an improved story line and more Dredd law enforcers. Also, I think the ending has been over done.

Better than I was expecting. As a long time Dredd fan the only thing that disappointed me slightly was the city itself. It just didn't have the grand scale of the comic version. Oh, and the law-master looks terrible! Other than that; good performances all round, a decent story (don't expect to have to think about the plot too much), and some beautiful visuals. A bit on the gory side if you're squeamish though.

A very entertaining and violent movie, not suitable for minors. If you enjoy movies like 300 and The Punisher then you will love this. Very good acting as well, Karl Urban makes a very good DREDD.

Excellent film. Enjoyed a lot. Although watching the 2d version some dark scenes are extremely grainy.

What an awesome film Dredd 3D is. It's a must watch movie. The effects are excellent in 3D. Thanks Zavvi for another quick delivery.
