End of Watch - Steelbook Edition is one of the most realistic, gritty, true to life police thrillers that has yet to come out of Hollywood. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena raise the bar in what is a breathtaking ride of what life must be like in the LAPD. The action and suspense is only overshadowed by how much they care for and look out for each other. The two actors have done a superb account of themselves in a truly believable bit of film-making.

This film is really gritty, a stand out above the rest. I really love the way the film was shot with hand-held cameras. This really gave a realism effect. The actors, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña are both fantastic actors with amazing chemistry between them. This steel-book is a great addition to such a great movie. I would recommend the steel-book and film very highly.

From the start of the film I was gripped! This is a real life insight into what the LAPD do on a daily bases in one of the toughest parts of the country. A must see!

End of Watch Steelbook: was a little scratched on the back but doubt that's zavvi's fault. It has got a nice shine on it and the extra DVD is ok to have. The film: I really enjoyed it as it did feel realistic although whats stopping 5 stars is that the really annoying bad guys film themselves which seems a bit stupid and that the plot is no more than various highlighted busts until the the last 20-30 mins where the two protagnists finally get marked by the cartel. On the plus side the acting was great and the ending was one of the best i have seen in a very long time and I watch movies very often. Steelbook: 4/5 Film: 4/5
