nice artwork front & back, much better than other steels

I got this steelbook from a different store and just saw it here so thought I would review. Ill start with the case. Its very good looking, on the outside its matte white with Edward in gloss, very sturdy and looks great on the shelf, the inside is dulled out abit because of the to hold the disc in place but still looks great. Putting the bluray into the player you usually expect a menu, you dont get one. It will start playing the movie straight away. The special features are on the DVD though which does have a menu. The sound and picture quality on this disc are superb, the colors are vivid and bright when they need to be and the blacks are deep and show no grain. The music throughout the film sounds great. The only scene to let it down is the end, there's considerable grain there but they have done their best to reduce it, its a very low light shot.

The film itself gets 5 stars. Whenever Burton, Depp & Ryder get together magic happens. The artwork is wonderful. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of special features, but that can be said of a lot of steelbook releases. If you're a fan of the movie and don't have the blu ray version, then I recommend buying the steelbook and Zavvi offer it a great price.

Fantastic movie and quality Blu-ray. Steelbook is lovely as well, the image and text on the front are high gloss on a matte white background. On the reverse is an image of Edward holding the paper cut-out that he creates on a matte white background.

Fantastic Steelbook for a fantastic film. Truly beautiful artwork on front, lovely image on back & inside. Picture & sound quality good but not outstanding. So if you're a fan of this film then it really is a must buy because its the best this unique movie will look & sound for a while. Presented in packaging that does it justice. Also Zavvi have it very cheap at the moment.

I was worried when hearing that some people recieved some zavvi steelbooks bent. When i got it, I was happy and thought that it's probably not something that happens often. Zavvi is awesome, and I plan to buy more produsts from you! When I have more money!

This is an excellent steelbook that can't leave any fan of the film unsatisfied. The quality of the pics presented here is amazing with the figure of Edward and the letters on the front cover really popping out.

Great Film with the young Jonny Depp but not so great blu ray.Disk just have 4.0 Audio and no english 5.1 hd master.Picture qualitie is overall ok.
