Blade Runner is an instant classic. One of those movies everyone has to watch in order to enrich his cinema culture. I cannot believe this was released in 1982, with its futuristic dark vision, atmosphere and effects it is decades ahead of its time and is still actual according to today`s standards. The soundtrack by Vangelis is amazing and has been sampled by many electronic producers, it can be heard in drum n bass tracks by Dilinja and Spor and many many more producers in different styles of music. Samples from the ost can be heard even in the OST of Silent Hill by Akira Yamaoka. Blade Runner is a great cyber punk movie, that has influenced many different types of art. Many easter eggs and references can be found in the Deus EX: Human Revolution game. I highly recommend that, the blue ray disc is a great purchase and it includes an ultra violet copy.
