I bought the Veho MUVI X-Lapse to work with a timelapse app on my android phone and with a fujifilm camera that has a timelapse function. This product works well with both. However it does only rotate in one direction, it has the workings of a clockwork kitchen timer inside and is supposed to ring a bell when it reaches the end of its arc of travel, however mine doesn't ring. I'm not sure if I am bothered about this or not. I will be using it in public at some point so I will probably be glad it doesn't come accross as a glorified egg timer.

This is a fantastic purchase for anyone interested in creating sweeping, panaramic time-lapses with ease. It's powerful enough to support a DSLR (even with battery pack) and also holds smaller GoPros and smartphones perfectly. The design of the X-Lapse is compact yet ideally suited for all kinds of creative implementation. You can have smooth 360 degree video (which takes one hour to shoot) and with the tripod mount on the base it can also be positioned for more inventive angles and framing. This item is well worth the price. Recommended to all photo nerds!

Worked for 5 seconds then stopped. Zavvi returns system was very good so no issues with them, just a very poor product.
