I hadn't seen Mind Of Evil before - other than a few excerpts - and was delighted. Stories longer than four parts sometimes drag a little but this is an above average six parter with all the regulars at the top of their game. 40 years on I think it stands up well, with a strong script and good production values - yes, they went over budget, but you can see, on screen, where the money was spent. The colour recovery of Episodes 2 to 6 is, generally, successful - even on the film sequences. There must be a subtle difference in the telerecordings of Ambassadors of Death as the colour in that is considerably more variable. Every fan of real-Who should have this on their shelf.
