The 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro is good for the 3DS XL, however I was unaware that it could only be used with 'compatible' games. Not all 3DS games are compatible! I bought it to use with Mariokart 7, however this game is not compatible. Check your games first!

The 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro works just the same and is just as comfortable as the smaller one. For those who are not familiar with this, it is an attachment for the 3DS that grants it two extra trigger buttons and a right circle pad. It is not compatible with all 3DS games as it is mainly used for shooters. Compatible games include Monster Hunter, RE Revelations, Snake Eater and Kid Icarus. It is very comfortable and has a very long battery life for only one AAA battery. This is a must for 3DS owners who are fans of shooters.

I bought this 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro for Nano Assault, it's now much more playable. The 3DS XL slips in and out of the device with ease, sits in the hands very nicely and the battery lasts a long time, so I'm told.
