Evil Dead has faultless picture and audio, nice steelbook art but it is flat - would have liked the text to have maybe been embossed but that's just personal preference.

Being a massive fan of the original I, like so many others went into this quite weary that it was going to turn into just another sub-par remake. Well it turns out this was a great surprise, its gory, bloody, scary and has everything a horror fan requires. Although the Evil Dead franchise turned into a comedy horror this film is bleak and doesn't contain any laughs, so its more akin to the original. I'd recommend it!

Being a massive horror fan and a fan of the original movie this was a must buy. Obviously like most remakes you do sit there thinking this is going to be rubbish but it's actually a brilliant remake. I cannot fault this film at all. Its brilliant it has blood and gore and the cheese on toast is still there through out the movie. If you're a horror fan buy it if you like or love the classic buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Received my evil dead blu-ray steel book on time and very well packaged, excellent service throughout.

The first thing that you will notice when you receive this Steelbook is how impressive looking the art is of the case it's self. It includes a DVD copy and a bluray copy of the movie. If you are a true Evil Dead fan this is a must have. The movie it's self without giving away anything major to the plot plays homage to the original trilogy and for this reason made this film all the better as the director who made this remake is clearly a fan of the original movies. This movie is really sucks you in with its originality when so other remakes are the same as the original. This is not the case with The Evil Dead. Be warned however I am an avid movie fan and generally I'm not afraid or repulsed by gore, this film is extremely gory and there was few part that made me feel sick. But that's what you want from a horror movie. Buy it. It's groovy!
