I wasn't sure how this films would look like on Blu-Ray and I was very suprised they got such a good transfer! The sound is good for its age. There aren't any "new" Specials or extras in this set. Nothing we didn't see many years ago. So its 4 stars because I had great expectations for new cool materials.

finally all 3 together, way better video quality than the DVD, they did away with the VC-1 codec that was used to master these previously and have used the latest MPEG-4 AVC, to the non technical, this means much superior video quality. Detail is superb, i could not ask for more, grain is intact but not intrusive. Pick this up before there sold out, cause i can guarantee you it will.

All was loved the Mad Max films, OK Beyond Thunderdome is a bit ropey, but you can't deny the original two films the title of 'Classics' the transfer to blu ray and surround sound is amazing. Once again sitting back to enjoy these films. Just can't wait for next reported installment when George Miller casts Tom Hardy as Max!!!!

Really smart looking box set. The films look very sharp and clean on blu-ray without losing the original 'grainy grit' look.

Great trilogy. After 25 years Mad Max is still one of the best action movies, and one of my all time favourites. It looks great on blu ray, and it has a good bargain price. If you buy it, you won't regret it.

Excellent boxset HD picture is refference quality.Suprised to see Mad Max HD transfer in such superb quality the picture is lifelike and very detailed for 35 year old movie and value speaks for itself.Highly reccomend!!!!

Excellent boxset for a good price. The first movie contains both the US as the original audiotrack. Picture and sound is brilliant (the original audiotrack on the first movie is not a DTS master track though). I don't kneed to explain the movies but my preference are the second movie, then the first one and lastly the third one. Buy if you like the franchise.
