This still stands as one of the best of the comics brought to life - very colorful, great cast, wonderful soundtrack. This is one that you just have to pull out and watch from time to time.

Steelbook arrived in excellent condtion, nice embossing, I love the use of the original poster art, and the solid back background as opposed to the North American release with the blue border.

Finally in Blu-Ray it comes this great 1990 movie about Dick Tracy. Performed by Warren Beatty, it is the greatest of the Tracy's theatrical impersonator. Madonna's performace is one of the greatest of her (poor) acting career. Quality of the blu-ray is great, and this limited steelbook worths all the money. My advice is to buy it without any doubts.

Firstly, this is not a review of the movie. I really like this movie and have done since its release in 1990 so when I ordered the Blu-ray I was hoping that for once I would get some extra features on the disc. This has proved not to be the case. The quality of the picture and sound is what you may expect, even better considering the age of the movie, with vibrant colours and clear sound but I personally feel ripped off that there were no extra features at all, nothing. The steelbook itself is very nice but not awesome, the embossing is only for the title, 'Dick Tracy' and nothing else. I for one will not be triple dipping unless an all bells and whistles version is released with documentaries on the making of, how they did the visuals and the score, a commentary would be nice too. At the moment this is a barely upgraded DVD which is bad considering the premium price tag on this steelbook.
