Do you know these Japanese Snacks, you can buy in Cinemas, this crab things, looking like bugs and taste like fish? When you come home from hard work, lying on your couch, what do you want to see? Ghandi? I prefer Movies like this, stupid and loud, funny and still funny, while watching again and again and again. Chips, Peanuts, a few bottles beer and this crab things, oh I hate bugs... perfect. A winner Movie.

Although I always enjoyed SST a lot, oddly enough I never upgraded to blu ray - that´s until Zavvi released their steelbook version! It´s not the best looking steelbook, although the logo is embossed, but nevertheless I´m glad I finally updated!

I haven't seen the film for years not since i borrowed it off my mate and the film on blu ray is a massive improvement over the dvd version not only is the picture quality crystal clear but the sound very impressive and the bonus being that you get it in a very nice looking steel book. Am very proud to have this as part of collection and is well worth picking up.

Steelbook arrived in excellent condtion, nice embossing, I love the use of the original poster art, I like it when it's not just the same as a previous video release.

Nice to see this old cult favourite get a Steelbook release from Zavvi. Although it's not the best looking Steelbook in the world, it's not the worst either. Nice debossed title but another matt paint finish. I think this really would have benefited from a gloss coating to really bring up those colours.

I first saw Starship Troopers when it originally ran in cinemas and then owned the DVD and now the Blu-Ray. I just keep coming back to it! This Blu-Ray release really does the film justice, the sound is great and the image crystal clear. The film itself has also stood up well to the tests of time - like Robocop, another modern masterpiece from Verhoeven, the messages of the film are just as relevant today (if not more so) than when the film was first released. The film may be rather unsubtle and blunt at times, but this approach really works. It is a film that can either be enjoyed with brain switched off, or full mental faculties engaged. An amazing achievement!

I love the movie and I love Steelbooks. Now I get the two things together. Thanks Zavvi! Only one thing is no good: No German language.

Looking forward to this title for a long time and Zavvi gave me the chance to accomplish my collection for this film! The steelbook is nice with embossed title and classic cover art!

Starship Troopers is a great steel!
