Games pretty much identical to gt5 but at this price it's still worth it. Think of it as a cheap gt5 game of the year edition and you won't be disappointed.

I'd never bought any of the previous Gran Turismo titles, but having enjoyed the demo I decided to buy this one. I was impressed with the vast quantity of car makes and how each one handles differently. And I assume every player has a type of car they get along with best for their game-driving style. The amount of things you can change and tweak on each car is great fun too. The range of tracks is excellent and it's nice to have both night and day races. It's also nice that most races are only over a few laps, which is sometimes hard to overtake all the cars in the time given, but really focuses your attention to your every move and braking zone. It's nice how a player progresses through the various stages and licences, with lots of side trials and missions to take on. The only thing I've hated about the game is Kart racing. It's a bit like trying to control a tea tray on ice and very Mickey Mouse-ish. It should maybe have been a side part of the game and not part of the main game. But that does not detract enough to take a star away. I was so pleased to find that this game does not give me motion sickness, like so many PS3 games do. I was unable to play the latest F1 game because of it, but thankfully I've found Gran Turismo and love it. I've never considered myself a petrol-head, but I can see myself becoming more so from playing this game!

I love this game, it's addictive. 1200 cars, over 100 tracks....and as real as a race sim game can be.

I would definitely buy it again, but you can't compare it to nextgen-racing games like Forza 5. It just lacks too much on certain levels. The 1200 cars are cool, but it feels pretty unsatisfying when cars like the "Toyota Supra" just look like cars from the PS2 when the PS4 already came out!!! conclusion: I would buy it again, because i'm addicted to Gran Turismo... but it's just a fill-in (between GT5 and GT7) after all.

Best game ever!

A quieter release than the previous version with no commitment for PS4 and only on PS3. I think think this appears to be the bridge before the PS4 hardware is tested whilst the PS3 physics and rendering are fully utilised. I'm incredibly impressed with the detail and the physics of the game are especially intricate. Handling-wise the cars are pretty much perfect. The game has more depth than its predecessor with a huge range of tracks to choose from. This time they have introduced breakaway challenges which are sometimes extremely hard but a lot of fun. This is a proper arcade racer and it lives up to the franchise name. The quality is superb and the scaling is perfect. The physics and realism of the tracks and cars to the track and hill gradient is stunning. I am especially happy that the options for upgrading and accessing more content are there and simplified. A happy customer and a fan of real simulation from the very first Need for Speed and Outrun games to this. It is a classic already. Very happy with the new tracks. I would like a classic rally series in the next game.
