I enjoyed watching The White Queen when it was originally broadcast over the summer of 2013 and enjoyed it so much that I decided to invest in the DVD. I love history and this was such an interesting and important time in British history and this programme tells it so well. In my opinion this is 'up there' with The Tudors for gripping drama with a bit of history thrown in.

I absolutely loved this series when it was first shown on BBC One in the summer, so I had to buy the DVD boxset! Even though the series could have done with being split into two series, in order to pace the story out a bit better - you cannot fault the quality of acting from the cast! A must for any who like their historical drama (but can cope with the glaring inaccuracies that go alongside artistic licence being chosen over historical fact)
